At my native place in Madurai lives a lady who is around 85 years old. We call her first aid remedy lady. She gives home remedy to all whoever approach her for home remedy for fever, cold, wound etc. Some of her service which I have witnessed are
- For inflammatory blood cloth she advised a herbal powder. On applying that for 3 days inflammation vanished.
- A ten year old girl who was suffering from stomach bloating and was also advised operation by the doctor, was given a home made medicine by her for a week. The girl got cured and she is fine without any relapse.
- When she came to know about the birth of the girl baby in my neighbourhood, she prepared Kajal and also gave home made medicines to the mother.
She inspired to write about her because without any hesitation she shared her recipes with me with full energy. She also made me write all the home remedies that has been tested and proved useful.
